I joined CPS Labs in the early 2007 as a member of the quality assurance team.
I always have technical turn of mind and attended Software Engineering classes at the Mari State Technical University with the intention of becoming a software developer. After graduation I began to work as a programmer and it turned out soon that my vocation was software testing. I’m lucky I realized it several years ago and set myself on the right track. To date I am quite experienced in this specific field.
Here I am responsible for providing quality for CPS Labs custom products. I work at every new version with great attention and patience to find any possible mistake. You know, there is no product without mistakes. I am here to spot them in the initial stage of the project.
Good technical background and persistence don’t make one a software tester. Actually one needs a special twist of mind to venture off the beaten path - view the program from some other point – and guess users behavior of course. That’s why I consider my job creative.
I devote a lot of time to my children. We walk together, skate, play games. They are very fond of music: my daughter plays the piano and her brother plays the flute. Sometimes we arrange a kind of home concerts. I want my son to become a software engineer; it is a fine occupation for a man I think. I encourage him to work with computer and from time to time offer him some tasks to solve using simple algorithms.
