This story can be started with “Once upon the time…” only, because there is a stroke of luck and a happy ending.
Earlier I worked in the pharmaceutical industry as I graduated from the university with a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. That time it was my hobby alone that really gratified me and evoked the response in my heart. My hobby was drawing.
Actually I have never studied it. I just drew a lot in watercolor and pen, created numerous scenes and characters. Then it dawned me that my creative ideas could be expressed with the means of computer graphics. I mastered some graphical packages on my own too. Graphical design had been remaining my pastime until I met the CPS Labs guys. This chance encounter was that very stroke of luck I think.
I turned a web designer from a chemist as if with a wave of a magic wand and got into gear straight away. No wonder! I really enjoy the work and have a kind of “dream folder” of complete and half-conceived ideas to realize them one day. This day has come.
In CPS Labs I design web site interfaces. I also create amusing animated characters and animals for some projects. Here I have advanced my skills and imaginative abilities greatly. It’s such an absorbing process to make a fancy in imagination, see it transforming and meliorating, and then embody it on the screen. It’s just like making dreams come true.
What do I do out of office? The same things. I just can’t stop drawing and thinking up. I also spend much time with my friends. We are movie fans and have already shot two documentaries. The last one is rather nostalgic. We made it to save the vision of old houses and alleys that disappear giving place to office buildings and thoroughfares.
